Our Clients
Network Rail
We were appointed National Rates Advisors to Network Rail in 2000 and have been advising Network Rail and the Rail Industry ever since. Work involves Central List assessment and liaising with Government Departments on Rates, Budgets, and Legislation.
The Financial Times
We have advised The Financial Times on Business Rates for the last 20 years, including their phased relocation from Southwark to Bracken House in the City of London. Work included securing temporary void relief and a major success on their 2017 Rating List appeal.
Transport for London
Expanding our role in dealing with Transport Infrastructure, we have advised TfL for a number of years, including negotiating Central List assessments for the London Underground and Docklands Light Railway. In addition, we have advised on a number of specialist properties, including the East London Cable Car and the River Piers.
Exclusive Hotels
We have advised Exclusive Hotels and their portfolio of 5-star Country House Hotels for over 20 years. These include South Lodge Sussex and Pennyhill Park Hotel and Spa in Surrey. We have successfully reduced the rateable value of both these hotels on successive Rating Lists from 2005 to date.
